Current Features:
* 集成 XBMC 12.2frodo, VDR 2.0.2, Enigma2PC
* supports more than 60 languages supported, once switched XBMC/VDR/Enigma2 language interface.
* Enigma2 offers native full EPG support.
* Support O***m (full support enigma2/VDR/XBMC ) ****** or ***** (support VDR and XBMC ) ******** support.[Edit ]
* No need to manually edit the configuration file, using dailog menu styles to complete most of the configuration.
* The iso file copying U disk can be used normally ( in the U disk to create a loopdisk.img virtual disk file, U disk capacity of not less than 1G)
* Enigma2 with XBMC supports both Intel / AMD / Nvidia graphics hardware decoding, VDR currently supports Nvidia and AMD graphics hardware decoding.
* use the kernel directly driven remote control receiver equipment, generally without any remote device configuration can be directly supported by VDR / XBMC .
* for DVB kernel device driver also provides support and s2-liplianin and TBS two driver package supports. On the market most of the DVB device provides support.
* DiSEqC setting channel scan all in dialog menu mode configuration. According diseqc.conf configuration uses scan-s2 perform a channel scan.
* XBMC installed xvdr plug-in, the default can in XBMC watch vdr television programs.
Use of environmental requirements:
* Intel graphics card can support Enigma2 with XBMC for vaapi hardware decoding, support for Intel G45 motherboard set was, Intel HD Graphics and the first generation of post- HD2000 , HD3000 , HD2500 , HD4000 , etc. Core Graphics.
* AMD graphics support enigma2 , VDR and XBMC hardware decoding. Thanks to the latest AMD cores and mesa open source drivers to support vdpau hardware decoding mode. Supports HD4xxx (or 785G/880G/890G other set was, but only supports mpeg21080p hardware solution, does not support mpeg4/h.264/vc-1 hardware decoding), HD5xxx with HD6xxx (the two series can provide perfect support, Note that the first generation of APU ie FM1 and E350 set was that HD6xxx ), HD7xxx with HD8xxx (currently the second-generation APU uses these two series, watch this series in XBMC 's OSD interface display is not normal, HDMI audio output sonic boom, which is open source driver problem, if the motherboard audio output and using only Engima2 and VDR can)
* Nvidia series graphics cards are more widely used, and enigma2 , VDR and XBMC can be the perfect hardware decoding. Specific graphics card model GF8400 more that 08 years and beyond N basic support graphics, attention to memory must be at least 256M (not TC256M )
* DVB card is supported: Theoretically Linux can support cards OpenPCTV have provided support. Under normal circumstances OpenPCTV can directly support more general Prof , TeVii , DVBWorld , DVBSky , TBS and other equipment. While also providing s2-liplianin and TBS two driver package to provide more DVB device support. First use, please enter the setup mode can be configured to drive. Note that part of the section to cx88 the pci card and based on cx23885 of pcie there may be sporadic cases can not be successfully driven, you can setup mode specified in your dvb card model.
* Remote control supported : kernel can support remote basically can be driven directly as part of the onboard CIR remote control, standard MCE remote control and DVB card comes with remote control, you need to do is specify the default Lirc remote control device that is available. Recommended CIR and MCE remote control. DVB card comes with remote control may need to redefine certain key bits. It may be necessary depending on the specific device. Note that some non-universal remote as " remote cool " may require special configuration (write udev rules rules), which can be another discussion.
* Display and Audio Devices: Recommended to support 1080p TV or projector. Speaker equipment recommended 5.1 -channel built- AC3 decoding (Zhejiang TV, CCTV3568 and CHC HD sometimes send 5.1 audio channel, display resolution output, and audio channel selection can be found in setup mode is configured.
* Other Equipment Requirements: CPU at least E350 can be the perfect use, memory 1G enough. If the direct use of U disk, then at least to 16G bar (if you want to record this capacity is not enough), it is best motherboard and U disk support both USB 3 (market a lot of use slc chip USB3 U disk read and write speeds of up to 200MB / s or more), then install to the hard drive, as the case may be, if you need video, then of course the bigger the better.
OpenPCTV in Testing --simple instructions
introduction of its current functions and features
It is integrated with XBMC 12.2frodo,VDR 2.0.2,Enigma2PC
It supports more than 60 languages, switching once to change to the language interface of XBMC/VDR/Enigma2.
You don't need to manually edit the configuration file, using the dialog menu style to complete the most of configurations.
You can normally use it by copying the ISO file to a USB disk(creating a virtual disk files loopdisk.img in a USB disk, USB disk capacity shall be no less than 1G)
It supports hardware decoding of AMD HD5xxx (and above) video card and Nvidia video card(Both use VDPAU). It can be normally used under VDR/XBMC, currently only supports Nvidia video cards under Enigma2.
It directly drives infrared receiver device using the kernel, common IR remote devices can directly support VDR/XBMC without any configuration.
For DVB and V4L device driver it provides both kernel support and additional driver packages support, The additional packages including S2-liplianin and TBS can be selected to install in the configuration setup.
DiSEqC setting and channels scanning are all configured with dialog menu style. According to the configuration of DiSEqC.conf , it uses scan-s2 to scan channel.
*XVDR addon is already installed in XBMC, you can watch VDR TV shows with XBMC by default..
How to use
Under Windows you can use 'Ultraiso' to write openpctv-.iso into a USB flash disk.
Under Linux you can use syslinux tools to write a boot record in anUSB flash disk, then copy all included files of ISO into the USB flash disk. Such as:
mkdir /tmp/iso # set openpctv-.iso file mountpoint.
mount -o loop/where/is/you/openpctv-.iso /tmp/iso # mount openpctv-.iso to /tmp/iso.
cp -a /tmp/iso/ /media/usb # copy all included files of ISO to your USB disk.
# /Media/USB is the mountpoint of your USB disk.
syslinux /dev/sdb4 # /dev/sdb4 is the device of the USB disk
cd /media/usb
mv isolinux syslinux
mv syslinux/isolinux.cfg syslinux/syslinux.cfg # change isolinux to syslinux
When you start it for the first time, please enter 'Setup mode' to complete all the initial configurations.
openpctv-.iso can be burned into CD, and you can normally run OpenPCTV with LiveCD mode, but all changes will be lost after reboot.
You can use the installer to install the system in your hard disk. But at present it can only be installed in your entire hard disk.
Xorg runs on tty4, you can at any time press Ctrl+Alt+F1 ... F3 to switch and login to shell using root:root, you can run 'setup' in the bash shell environment to configure. Note that if vdr.service is running, then all changes for VDR will be invalid. You can stop vdr.service this time. such as:
systemctl stop vdr # Stop vdr.service
systemctl stop xbmc # Stop xbmc.service
systemctl stop enigma2pc # Stop enigma2pc.service
You can use the ssh remote to login in OpenPCTV (user:root, password:root, scp and sftp are both supported), also can use ftp (user:password openpctv:openpctv)
The current known bug
