Esperimento vdr con LFS

Salve, sto cercando di realizzare un mio pallino di sempre, un sistema completamente compilato, quindi sono partito da LFS, realizzando la mia distro completamente compilata, a quel punto ho iniziato installare le libcap e libjpeg per compilare vdr e si compila il tutto, ora però il mio problema rimane che all'avvio non viene caricato il driver della scheda dvb che è una classica skystar 1 vi pasto l'lspci:

ma all'avvio accade ciò, da premettere che ho provato 2 diversi kernel 2.6.16.27 e 2.6.18.6 entrambi con diverse configurazioni e ricompilazioni, comunque vi pasto il dmesg:

Ora chiedo a voi se sapete come risolvere questo problema, se devo patchare il kernel, premetto comunque che il firmware della scheda c'è ed è stato posizionato in tutte le varie posizioni immaginabili /lib/firmware// /lib/firmware /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/ etc. etc. ma non c'è stato da fare sempre lo stesso problema....

C'è qualcuno che può darmi una manina?

A me non sembra un problema di firmware, ma piuttosto di riconscimento della scheda in maniera non corretta...

Magari e' una stupidata, ma hai provato a scaricare una versione mercurial da linuxtv ed utilizzare questi ultimi driver al posto di quelli del tree del kernel?

Tieni presente che le versioni del kernel che utilizzi sono versioni abbastanza vecchiotte, quindi non puoi utilizzare le release piu' aggiornate...Con archlinux ho dovuto aggiornare il kernel alla 2.6.22 per poter contare sul supporto SS1 degli ultimi mercurial, pero puoi tranquillamente scaricare qualcosa del 2007...

Altrimenti tira giu e compila da kernel.org una versione del kernel almeno 2.6.22.

Ho RISOLTO!!! il problema era "Stradis", l'ho completamente eliminato dal kernel nella posizione:

Multimedia devices --->
Video For Linux --->
Stradis 4:2:2 MPEG-2 video driver (EXPERIMENTAL)

a questo punto funziona tutto c'è un però...
che ora il device udev me lo inserisce su /dev/

A proposito di LFS e VDR ... ho sempre in mente i tempi di reazione della macchina di Lukkino che aveva portato al VdrDay ... impressionate! :shock: ... :-)

(lo so so che era vdr 1.4.7 ;) ... ma era veramente una scheggia ... ancora complimenti a Luk)
