Eccola la "stable" dopo 15 anni di sviluppo

VDR version 2.2.0 is now available at

When updating from an earlier version of VDR please make sure you read the INSTALL
and MANUAL files that come with the VDR source _before_ doing so!
Please make sure you have backup copies of all your configuration files,
and verify carefully that your timers will be set to the correct channels
after switching to this new version.

debugging of this new version of VDR, and also to all users who have been
enjoying VDR over the past 15 years!

Ciao a tutti,
non è strettamente legata alla nuova versione stabile di vdr, ma segnalo che, nonostante il plugin è vecchio e non aggiornato da più di 5 anni, i dvd con vdr finalmente vanno bene, praticamente come un normale lettore. Merito, suppongo, delle nuove lib libdvdnav (5.0.3) e, forse, libdvdread (5.0.2), nonchè libdvdcss (1.3.99 ma anche 1.3.0). Ho provato anche col vecchio vdr per curiosità e alcuni dischi originali che a me hanno dato sempre problemi ora vanno perfettamente. Anche con il nuovo 2.2.0, ovviamente. Dopo più di 10 anni finalmente un annoso problema di linux (non del solo vdr) sembra risolto.

Beh ora che vanno i DVD , ci vorranno altri 10 anni per i blu ray
